Rebecca Osborn
LCSW, PLLC
Pronouns: she/her
I am dedicated to meeting my clients where they are. I companion them in their strengths and in their challenges. I create a space to more deeply understand and gain curiosity about why life’s paths have converged in this moment. I have a deep capacity to hold pain and suffering as my clients begin to integrate their history to create a new future.
My work is guided by therapeutic techniques drawn from psychodynamic principles, attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, and some key concepts of cognitive behavioral therapy. In addition, I believe that our work must occur in a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and safety.
As a clinical social worker I am committed to my ongoing education and advocacy to support the rights of all people, specifically historically marginalized communities including race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
When I'm not working, you are likely to find me walking my dog in the woods, cooking in my kitchen, or maybe even kayaking on the lake.
Approach
I specialize in working with adults and couples who are feeling disconnected with each other or in the world. Symptoms can include anxiety depression, or a relationship that seeks to grow.
